The folk music nights hosted by a group of local musicians on the first Saturday of the month have proven very successful and well attended with people invited to bring along their musical instruments and join in or just come along to listen to the music. The Burns Ceilidh was also very much enjoyed by the limited number of people who attended. We have also had some additional users who were unable to use the hall in Drum while it is being refurbished and we are very glad to be able to support these users while the work is ongoing.

The Whist Drives continue to prove a popular social event which were much enjoyed by all who played and once again included some very welcome new players, including quite a few under the age of 40 Someofthe hall committee also held some training sessions in Balnain Primary School on Wednesday afternoons to teach some children how to play whist which resulted in a few of them playing at the whist held to support the school at the beginning of March and also at the November whist held last Friday Finally I would like to say a huge thank you toome all the work she does in cleaning the hall, opening the doors for various user groups, taking bookings and collecting rent for the hall.
