**Objectives:** The purpose of the Association shall be to maintain and preserve, as part of the historic heritage of the Roman Catholic Church in Scotland, the farmhouse building in the braes of Glenlivet - formerly in the county of Banff, now in the district of Moray - known as ''The Scalan', which for the greater part of the eighteenth century was used as a seminary for the education of Catholic priests and is the earliest institution of its kind in Britain.
