**What the charity does:** Our mission is to provide affordable and appropriate spaces, resources, projects and opportunities for the residents of Edinburgh to be creative. In doing so we support the creation of cultural, social and economic value within the city.

**Objectives:** 4	The company's objects are:- 4.1	To advance education m the arts for the benefit of people of all ages and demographics, and in particular among those experiencing poverty, in necessitous circumstances, and those who may otherwise be socially excluded, in the local community and beyond, through.  4.1.1	the provision of access to a variety of creative, cultural, social and educational opportunities.  4.1.2	the development of a comprehensive programme of educational and recreational creative projects.  4.1.3	the provision of appropriate and affordable spaces to support a diverse range of professional and amateur creative practice.  4.1.4	the development and support of creative enterprises which offer a wide range of opportunities.  5	The company's objects are restricted to those set out in article 4 (but subject to article 6).  6	The company may (subject to first obtaining the consent of OSCR) add to, remove or alter the statement of the company's objects in article 4. on any occasion when it does so, it must give notice to the registrar of companies and the amendment will not be effective until that notice is registered on the register of companies.
