Investment Powers
The powers of the Trnstces are governed by the Trusts {Scotland) Act 1921 and their invesiment powers are governed
by the Trustee Investmeni Aci 1961. ls a￿nded by the Charities & T￿Stee Invest￿￿nt (Scoiland) Act 2(M)5.
Risk management
The Tru5tee5 have a dlliy io idelltify and Teview ihe risks to which the chwity 15 exwsed and to ensure prO￿r controls are
in place to provide reasonable assurance against frnwl and error. The TTU51ees consider the Susthinability of fuiu
donations to bc the most signifi¢ani risk. To deal with this they are building up reserves and they do noi make ongoing
expendiiure com1nit￿ntS. preferring instead to make ￿and alone donations.
Trustee induction and training
The TNsiee.% continually review their policies relating to the induction and training of Trustees in order to ensure that
all Trustees have the knowledge and skills requird of ihem lo fuiftl their ￿SponSibl]It1eS and io ensure that the Trust
complie5 with the guidelines al￿ recommendations laid down from lime io time by the Office of the Seoltish Charity
Regulator. Each Ttusiee has been issued with a ¢opy of the Trustees, Guidance booklet thai ha5 iEen i.qsued by the
Office of the Scotiish Charity Regulator.
Taxation
The Trust 15 a charity and is re¢ognised as such by HM Revenue aTKI CuSton￿. As a result. there is no liability to taxation
on any of its incolne.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Primary Tru￿ Purposes

institutions, fovndaiions. b(K]ies or trusts which aff charitable in law takc into consideration and pay sp￿la] ￿gard to
children. education, medica] and health interesls and the Jewish communiiy in Scotland and abroad.
ACHIEVEMENIS AND PERFORMANCE
Charitable Activities
The Twsiees issued 47 donations to ￿elplent5 during the year in fvrthcrance of the Trnsi's chan"table purposes.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Review ofthe financial position and activities of the Trust
During the year ended 5 April 2026 the Trusiees have conlinued to fulfil the objectives of the Trust. Awards
amounting to £17,450 (2025.. £15.015) were made during the year. These have been funded out of irtcomc for
the year or out of undisiribuled income of earlier years. The TNstees anticipa￿ that future a[￿lla1 donations will
bc at a level around th¢ £17,450 of exFndiiure this year.
FUTURE DEVEU)PMENIS
The T￿￿feeS aim to continue making donations lo charitable institutions at &s high a level as the revenue earned
will permit, whilst at the same time building up capithl reserves so as to ensure that the TNsi will be able to
¢onLinue ￿ make charitable dOn￿lonS well into the future.
STATEMEwf OF TRUSTEES RESPONStBtLITIES
The Trnstees are rasponsible for preparing financial statements which Comply with applicable Uniied Kingdom
law and Accounting SLindards (Uniied Kingdom GeneraIly Accep(ed Accounting Practice) and for making
available certain oiher infortnation the TMSE in the form of an Annual Rep)rt.
Charity legislation requires the Trustees lo prepare accounts for each fina￿la1 yearthat give a tnje and fair view
of the state of affairs of ihe Trusi and of the surplus or deficit of the Trnst for Ihat ￿riod. In preparing those
accounts the Trustees are requircd to:

P￿pa￿ the accounts on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume thai the Trust will
continue its operations.

any time the financial Posiiion of ihe Trust and to enable them io ensure that (he accounts comply with Charities
& Trustee Investmeni (Scotland) Act 2(M)5 and the Charities Accounts (Scotlandl Regulation5 2006. They a
also responsible for safeguarding ihe assets of the Trust and hence for taking reasonable steps for the preveniion
and detection of fraud and oihei ittegulaTities.

(as amended). The charity's trustees consider that the audit requiTtTt*nt of Regulation 101 I)(a) to (c) of the
Accounls Regulations doe5 not apply. Ii is my rcswmsibility to examine tk accounts as required under Section
44(1)(c) of the 2(K)5 Act and to state wlKther particular matters have come io my attention.
