Clan Cancer Support is a local charity that provides emotional and practical support to individuals affected by cancer across North-East Scotland, Moray, Orkney, and Shetland. We offer a range of services, including: Information and support: Guidance and resources for those diagnosed with cancer. Counselling and therapy: Access to qualified professionals to help cope with emotional challenges. Complementary therapies: Options like aromatherapy and massage to promote well-being. Social and wellbeing activities: Programs to support community engagement and mental health. Accommodation and transport: Affordable B&B accommodation and assistance with travel to hospitals. Clan is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those impacted by cancer and their families.

Objectives: 2.1 The Charity's objects are restricted specifically, in each case, only for the public benefit: (a) to relieve the suffering and distress of people in Scotland affected directly or indirectly by cancer including those individuals who have a suspected or confirmed cancer diagnosis, their families, friends, carers, work colleagues and anyone else directly or indirectly affected by cancer and in furtherance thereof, but not otherwise: (i) to promote, provide, and procure the provision of, advisory, counselling and other support services and assistance. (ii) to hold regular meetings of an educational and I or social nature for the purpose of providing or procuring the provision of information and advice of a non-medical nature on the effects of cancer and its treatments so as to engender a more widespread knowledge of the availability of the Charity's services. (b) to provide and to promote and procure the provision of such other charitable services and assistance for the benefit of people in Scotland affected directly or indirectly by cancer as the Charity may, from time to time, consider appropriate, including (without prejudice to the foregoing generality) wellbeing services and assistance for the advancement of education in relation to the effects of cancer and related conditions. and (c) to provide such buildings and accommodation and plant, machinery, apparatus, furniture, furnishings and books, libraries and other aids and equipment as may be required to carry out the objects of the Charity and to use such accommodation and equipment as may be provided by any other person or body.
