Trustees The Trustees serving during the year are detailed on page 3. STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT Governing document Cambuslang & Rutherglen Christian Reachout Charitable Trust I'the Trusl.) is governed by a Trust Deed dated 4 March 1994 and is a recognised Scottish Charity (No. SC0224591- Appointment of Trustees New Trustees are nominated for appointment by the existing Truslees. There is no fixed term for Trusteeship. Prior lo their appointment, new Trustees would have expressed an interest in the Trust and would be familiar wilh the Trust's values, its aims and objectives as well as its day-to-day operations. New Trustees are required to subscribe lo Scripture Union Scotland's Statement of Failh and Ethos Statement. As part of their induction programme, new Trustees are required to understand their statulory responsibilities. Organisational structure The Trustees are responsible for managing the affairs of the Trust. They delegate day-l(Fday management to the Management Committee, the members ofwhich are shown on page 3. In the year to 31 March 2022 one of the Trustees was a member of the Management Committee, and the remaining members are appointed or removed by the Trustees. The Trust Workers attend Managemenl Committee meelings and operate under the Committee's authority and direction. Future organisational structure During 2018 the then Trustees acknowledged the benefit of limited liability provided by a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation I'SCIO"}. Accordingly. a SCIO was registered on 18 December 2018. At a meeting of Trustees of the SCIO on 27 January 2020, the new trustee£ who had taken office LJndp.r the existin Trust Deed and were appointed as Trustees of the SCIO and all of the remaining Trustees of the SCIO resigned. Subsequently, al the AGM of the SCIO, was appointed Chair of the Trustees and it was resolved to proceed to make an application to open a new bank account for the SCIO. With that account opened the transition from the existing Trusl Deed to the SCIO was being progressed to completion in the latter part of the year with new standing orders being completed by existing donors. At a meeting of the Trustees on 25 March 2021 it was agreed that the Iransfer of assets, liabilities and employees would take effect on and from 1 April 2021. As al 31 March 2021, therefore, Ihe Trust would ￿ase its activities and funds held by the Trust would be transferred lo the SCIO. and the bulk of the Trust's funds were duly transferred to the SCIO on 1 April 2021. OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES The Trust has the following objective: To spread the good news of Jesus Christ in its area of operation by all appropriate means.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE As narrated above. the Trust ceased ils activities a5 al 31 March 2021 and the funds held in the Trust's bank account as at that dale were transferred into the bank account of the SCIO 21. As elh employment of the current staff of the Trust, namely transferred from the Trust to the SCIO as did the remaining assets and Iiabililies of the Trust. The SCIO, as Suc￿$S0r lo the Trust, continued the activities of the Trust thereafter. Due to Ihe fact that not all donors giving by standing order had instituted a new standing order in favour of the SCIO. or had not cancelled their existing standing order in favour of the Trust, the bank account of the Trust remained open from 1 April 2021 10 31 January 2022, to allow residual mallers lo be resolved so far as practically possible. As outstanding matters were addressed amounts at credit ofthe Trust's bank account were transferred lo the SCIO from time lo time and the final balance of £1,263.60 was transferred to the SCIO on 31 January 2022. FUTURE ACTIVITIES As reported above, the assets, liabilities and staff transfefred to Cambuslang and Rutherglen Christian Reachout Trust SCIO with effect on and from 1 April 2021, al which date the activities of the Trust ceased. With all balan￿S transferred to the SCIO, Ihe bank account of the Trust was closed on 31 January 2022. All that remains to be done is for the Trust lo be wound up, subject to the pem)ission of OSCR. FINANCIAL REVIEW Per the Receipts and Payments Account on page 6, the Trust received income from various sources of £11,436.92. After payment of miscellaneous sums amounting to £213.77, a total of £44,678.88 (including the opening bank balan￿ of £33.455.731 was transferred to the SCIO, thereby bringing the bank account of the Trust to a zero balan￿ on 31 January 2022, whereupon it was closed. STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES. RESPONSIBILITIES The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees. Report., and, in the current year, the f5nancial statements in accordance with guidance frorn OSCR.
