Skye Bible Church SCIO Scottlsh Charlty Number: SC022309 Trustees Report to Accompany Accounts l January 2023 to 31 August 2023 Skye Bible Church has operated as an independent religious organisation on the Isle of Skye since February 1994. In 2016 it changed its charitable status to a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Or8anisation ISCIO) registered with the Office of the Scottish Charities Regulator (OSCR). Since it's inception in 1994, Skye Bible Church has been affiliated to the Aposto14C Church, UK IACUK). By 2022, the SCIO was finding it increasingly difficult to appoint trustees. A5 a result of this, the trustees ente￿d discussions Wlth the ACUK about becoming fully incorporated into that organisation. The ACUK would then assume the overall governance of Skye Bible Church. On 25 June 2023, the membership of Skye Bible Church SCIO held an extra-ordinary meetin8 at which it was agreed by majority vote. to dissolve Skye Bible Church SCIO and to transfer its assets to the Apostolic Church UK ISC037835} with whom Skye Bible Church would fully incorporate. On 26 June 2023, formal application was submitted to OSCR to dissolve a solvent SCIO; formal th consent to proceed was received from OSCR on 15 August 2023. It was agreed that the financial assets of Skye Bible Church SCIO would be transferred to the Apostolic Church UK operating as Apostolic- Skye Bible Church with effect from 00.OOhrs on 1° September 2023. On this date. the £41.386.00 held by the Royal Bank of Scotland in the name of Skye Bible Church SCIO was transferred to the Apostolic - Skye Bible Church, subsidiary of the ACUK.
