Objectives and activities
Charitable purposes
The charitable purposes are to award financial assistance or other aid to
men and women of retirement age and above who either worked for the
estates or businesses owned by the Earl of Mansfield or a member of his
family, or any other person of pensionable age who lives in the areas of
Scone, St. Martin’s, Logiealmond, Kinnoull, Perth, Tibbermore, Moneydie,
Redgorton or Methven.
Summary of the main activities
in relation to these objects The charity maintains an endowment fund, the income from which is used
to finance the Charity’s grant making activities.
Additionally, a number of individuals and organisations make contributions
towards the charity’s work, and this side of income generation will be
increasingly promoted going forward.
