Dundee u3a has been active for over 30 years and is proud to be one of the longest running groups in Scotland alongside Perth & Edinburgh.We have over 40 interest groups and welcome new members. There is no minimum age, but a focus on people who are no longer in full-time employment or raising a family .(eg retired, non employed or employed part time, with spare time to be involved in our interest groups )Our founders envisaged a collaborative approach with peers learning from each other. The u3a movement was to be self-funded, with members not working towards qualifications but learning purely for pleasure. There would be no distinction between the learners and the teachers – everyone could take a turn at being both if they wished.

Beneficiaries: 'Older People'

Objectives: The Charitable Purpose of The U3A is the advancement of education, and in particular the education of older people who are retired from full time work, by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development, in Dundee and its surrounding locality.
