A good core ott e8St mainland holding that district competition together. Then to on of my personal18vourit8 days of the year when we all went alongto pole to learn how to milk. A great opportunityfor wider learning in 8griculture. As well as many other opportunitles help this y88r learning to does lambs and the many many silage pits we have covered as 8 club ral8lnggr8atfundsforthe club atthe same tlme. And to one off our senior members Marcus Scholes coming home with the best individu81 in the sheep section along with winning the best palr In the section alongside Harray teammate Tom Flett. An outstanding 8¢hievement for Orkney let alone East Mainland. Fun filled days of activty organlsed by our sports convenors. Declan Macleod maklng adrenaline filled day for the boys ot the Paintb811ing along with 8 me81. Then a much more relaxed eveningforthe Ladies organised byAmyTait a dayatthe sauna and sea 8wimmlng. A summer full off organlsing for Shows and activities, shows this year the dunk tank out again along with a gunglng session in the main ring seeing our secretary. Magnug Risbridger gettingthe short straw. Sign8 palnted forthe hope showthankstoAnn8 McEwen 8nd herteam. After endless bottle stalls and games It was tlme for Rally. Rally this ye8r got us our great sponsored rugby tops designed by yours truly Ilona Foubister. But

Then a funfiiied winter off pool and darts hosted tythesands Hotel with manydifferentwinners throughout the weeks. And our bowls competition being h8rd fought for and thanks to our tea Convenors for the year Olivia Brown, Finlay Luke and Siobhan for the suppers provided not only just &tthe bowls butthroughouttheyear I'm Sure everyonewould agree in sayingthattheywere absolutely fantastic. Then on to Brains ofthe North Seniorteam comingsecond place- Ewan Flett, Andrew Harvey. IDna Muir and Magnus Risbridger then going 8long to national quiz to compete again with Amy Tait and Reece byres taking lona and Ewans place lor them when held in Inverness this year. Ourjunior quiz teams winning and second place at district level teams consisting off 1 st James Smith, Murfayscott and Scottslater 2nd Abbey Mo8r, Josie Eunson and Lana Baillie Then to continue into winter 8 fabulous Guy Faulks night hosted by the Taylors. A H8lloween pumpkin c8rving 8veningand a lamb dres8ingdemonstration by Ewan Flett hosted by Quoydandy. Seed and roots competition showing many great entries and thanksto th&team off Scorers ond Magnus Risbridger for organi8ingthe event. Along with also getting photos together for a club calendar a tremendous lob. Teams heading south then to the Most lovelyThuro high school. 3teams heading from East M8inland. With Anne Smith and Jasmine Brown providing a excellent menu getting them through to Nation81 countrycooks. An experience I would recommend to anyone. A speech given by our club president Inga Kemp, games and meal provided then on to a d8nceto the Gablos. A night for our sponsors and famllies and friends to enjoy all our h8rd work. Then it was full go into Concert practices with many people to thank for 811 the effort put into months off constant dancing and singing practices.
