Turriff & Distnrt Junior tsricukural Club is an unlncorpor3ted Charity. As govemed ￿ our constitution, the club
provides activities, which further personal development, cultural education and training of young people to
rnake rural life more attractNe to the YOU￿ members of the t&)mmunity.
To advance the education and trdinlng of young Peop￿ at ￿rge in rural issues, agriculture, hornecrafts and related
subject. To advan￿ the development of active citliens through development off individuals involvement within
their local communlty and leadership of their Youn& Farmer Group. In the interests of social welfare of youn8
people in rural Scotland provide and promote the pro¥islon of acti¥ities for recreation and other leisure time
occupations which will improve their conditions of life and will a￿$t in the de¥eloprnent of their 5plritLtsal and
mentsl capacSties and self reliance and indivfjdu•l resF*Jnsibility.

TurrSff and District JAC hold regular club meetings and four cornrnittee meetlrqs thrO￿ut the year. Worklng
well tO8ether to encour¥Ke members of all ages to p•rtldpate and *chi￿ success wlthln the club. The club's
syllabuses are always varied and InteRstSrrf wlth somethir4 to cater for t￿ryon￿'S taste& Keeplng In mlnd th•
moto"Better Farmers, Better Countrymen, Better Cltlttns".
The ye¥r has been another Interest1￿ one trying to get back to some sort of ￿rmalIty through the covid pandemlc.

The new summer Wlabus began with a friendly game of rounders to get eversvne back into the swin8 of thin8S.
Next we had a ccK*kalonB on zoom *indly hosted by lauren Houstwn frorn Glenkilrie Lanler. Fine nights let U$ 8
Some palnting done at the Turriff Cemetery & Memtsrfjal Garden and we had • Sunday afternoon spent rolllng about
in the mud at the outdoor assault coune at Crimnd. The summer Wlabus also included a gaff*s night at
kinnermlt, o mock aurtion and valuation night at Netherton Trartors and it wa5 rounded off with the v6ce Chairman's
88Q and Games Night hosted by Andrew Paton whkh left a h)t of us a Ilttle *vrse for wear on the Saturday.
Unfortunately due to the covid pandemic couldn't h05t our marquee and no 5how5 were able to go ahtad.
However the Grampian Ralty made a come back at Echt Showground with members enloyln8 competin8 aealnst
other clubs the usu•l field sp)rts, Industrial e¥ents and twa of war.
Our wlnter wllabus started off with a Pumpknn Carvin8 competition for Halloween follo*Yd by a bonfire night. The
clubs dTrnner & dance at Lochter was as successful as ever sellin8 amund 130 tick*￿ There were 4 stockjud8in8
meetin8Sthroughout the Wlabus along with a fE5tNe trip to see the panto at HMT. a Informati¥e farm
safety t¥lk from Club chair Sally Malr, Ten Pin bowlire at codonas and a Tour of Fortrle.

In the forthcoming year the Mana8ement Committee are planning to promote the dub more in the local
mmunity and try to attrart new member5 to I￿n.
The club has a defic¥t forthe year of £2670.55. tt*mpared to a defic6t of £5030.21 the year prior thi5 1$ Ilkely due to
the club not being able to host its annu•l rnarql￿ fvndraiser. wff¢h the gjth anr*Nersary comlw up this year
