The charity's aim is to maximise life opportunities for young people. Using our nautical medium we do this through providing nautical adventure and qualifications. In addition we encourage young people to adhere to a set of values that comprise self-commitment, loyalty, teamwork, honesty and integrity. We also provide young people with a host of non-nautical qualifications, such as engineering, music and first aid, We involve them in competitions covering a range of sports and provide them with the opportunity for international travel and to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
