(d) Act as trustees/agents for funds/grants from statutory bodies/trusts. affiliate with similar charities. cooperate with press/publicity to promote objects. (e) Acquire, hold, sell/lease/dispose of heritable/moveable property/rights for objects. construct/maintain/alter buildings as needed.

Objectives: The Company is established for charitable objects and purposes only. In particular its objects are: (a) The provision of respite care and to provide accommodation, domiciliary and day-care services within the community for 'persons in need' as interpreted by Section 94 of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968, including provision for persons who: (i) are in need of care and attention arising out of infirmity, youth or age, or (ii) suffer from illness or mental disorder or are substantially handicapped by any deformity or disability. (iii) are referred in connection with court of tribunal appearances, or orders made thereat. (b) To provide, improve, repair, maintain and manage housing (whether solely or in conjunction with any other person or body). (c) To engage and employ professional advisers, persons, firms, agents, Government agencies and organisations whose services are necessary or desirable for the promotion and carrying out of the objects of the Company and to pay reasonable and proper remuneration for such services. (d) To act as trustees or agents for or to manage money grants or other assistance received from statutory bodies, trusts or other bodies, and to affiliate with any other association, society or body established for charitable purposes only and, having the primary object wholly or partly similar to those of the Company and for the purpose of promoting the primary object of the Company to co-operate with the press and other sources of publicity. (e) To purchase, take on lease or in exchange, hire or otherwise acquire and to hold, sell, feu, 1ease or otherwise dispose of any heritable or moveable property and any rights or privileges which may be necessary or convenient for the promotion of the objects of the Company and to construct, maintain and alter any buildings or erections necessary or convenient for the work of the Company.
