Recruitment and Appointment of Trustees Members of the Kirk Session are the charity trustee5. Thc Kirk Session members are the elders of the church and are ch05L'n frvm thosc members of the church who dre ¢onsidered lo have ihe appropriai¢ gifts and skills. Elders are OTdained into the Eldership for lite. The mtnister. who is a member of th¢ Kirk Se%sion. is elected by the cOngegation and inducted by PTesbytery. Organi5ational Strnctyre The Kirk Session. comprising of all elders. meels six limes a year is responsible for spiritual affairs within the church as well as the financial and property matters. Our mw'tings can be held in person or via Zoom depending on the cuent epidemic situation. Elders are members of sub-cvmmitt¢es (teams) pertaining to the work ot the Kirk Session. Members and adherents of the congregation s¢rvL on thesL commillees either through volunteering because of an interest in thai area or by beingy co-OPlLd. Millburn Academy from Inverness proi'ided the musical entertainment for our annual Christma5 Cheer event. which was wcll attcnded and much ¢njoYed. The Babiei and ToddlL"rs (iroup has coniinu¢d to maintain healthy numbers. The Fundraising Group hdd a pr¥srni¢ in Feb 2n24 at the Kingussie Food and Film evcnt, s¢lling soup and rolls.Sin¢e the Induction ol'our new Minisier Ihe . atiendance ai services has irnproved. Ilc h#s re*siablished ¢oniact with th¢ Primary School, which r¢sulted in school visits and LlassL's ol- pupils Blt¢nding the Church prior io Christmas.
