**What the charity does:** Through fundraising events and grant applications we raise money to buy equipment and upgrade facilities at the school. What to purchase is discussed with the school to make sure it introduces new or enhances existing education capabilities in the school. We update the parent/carer community regularly via social media and email. All the PTA meetings are open to all at the school and we invite all to take part in the PTA’s activities.

**Objectives:** “The aims of the association are to advance the education of the pupils of Arduthie Primary School, Stonehaven by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the education authority). In addition:  a) To promote close co-operation and communication between parents/ guardians/ carers and staff of the school b) To engage in activities, including fundraising, which support and advance the education of pupils attending the school   It is expressly declared that the PTA is established for charitable purposes only. The PTA registered charity number is SC021524.”
