Trustees Report and Accounts for the Year Ended 31° January 2026
Recruitment and appointment of Trustees The Association’s Trustees are appointed or re-appointed by the members at our Annual General Meeting.
Governing Document The Association is a charitable unincorporated association. Our purpose, and administration arrangements, are set out in our constitution.
Charitable Purposes Our purposes are to maintain and manage a centre of activities promoted by the committee; to foster a community spirit in the neighbourhood for the achievement of these and other such objects as may by law be deemed to be charitable.
Activities and Achievements Our aim is to continue to provide low-cost access to rooms for groups that meet the aim of the charity. West Dunbartonshire Council have continued to support us in the form of a grant from running costs and we are grateful for their support.
We benefit from groups that use us regularly and try to keep our letting charge as affordable as possible. We have been successful in receiving grant funding from West Dunbartonshire Council, Flightpath Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund to support with upgrading the internai facilities and the fabric of the building.
Trustees remuneration and expenses The Trustees receive only out of pocket expenses.
Reserves The Association has no material reserves.
Approved by the Trustees and signed on their behalf

Double L Centre Management Committee
| report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 January 2026 which are set out on pages 2 to 5.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiners
The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) 2005 Act and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent examiners statement
My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and, consequently, | do not express an audit opinion on the accounts.
independent examiner statement
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention
-
which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements: e to keep accounting records in accordance with section 44(1) (a) of the 2005 Act and Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations, and e to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with Regulation 9 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations have not been met, or
-
to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
