**What the charity does:** Trees for Life wants to be an impactful organisation that seeks big changes. We want to be bold and ambitious, leading by example and respected by our peers and those we seek to influence. To reflect this, we are adopting an ambition statement to describe our intentions and way of working more clearly: “Trees for Life stands at the forefront of rewilding in the Scottish Highlands. Hopeful and bold, we are committed to creating nature-rich landscapes that include and support people. With a focus on Scotland’s spectacular Caledonian forest, we foster biodiversity and encourage natural processes essential to life. From the iconic red squirrel to the elusive lynx, we're working to bring back more life to our landscapes. Rewilding is a shared journey, and together with communities, we are restoring Scotland’s natural and cultural heritage. Join us on this journey of hope and positive action. Rewild the Scottish Highlands.”
