The purpose of the church shall be the advancement of the Christian faith primarily in Alloa and also throughout Scotland and the rest of the world by all means consistent with the teaching of the Christian Bible including worship, ministry, prayer, witness, education, community service and the support of agencies and individuals and other charitable organisations involved in Christian missionary work and the relief of poverty or other social needs. The church affiliated to the Baptist Union of Scotland.

Objectives: The Trustees shall hold and manage the said subjects and whole buildings which may be hereafter erected thereon for the use and behoof of the said church and the whole members thereof for the time being without regard to any changes in their number Second The Church for which the said Trustees shall hold the said subjects shall in all time to come agreeably to their present use and practice maintain the exclusive authority and entire sufficiency of the holy scriptures in all matters of belief and of duty the Doctrine of salvation.
