The aims of the Churc￿ which is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Scotlarf are to worship
tog¢th¢r in Spkrit and TnrtJ¥ to bjild up the meM1￿S in the faith a￿1 10 proclaim the Gosp¢l
of Jesw Christ in word and action to a dying world.
Printipal Aetivitiej
The principal ￿tIvItieS of the church during a normal year were the public Worship of Jesus
Christ and the nll)ning of praycr m¢cling4 Sunday ￿ youth and various fdlowship
groups.

and we are seeing a gradua] decre￿ in at￿nd￿ * the ei4'ening serviix. AS a result some

reluctant to return to church
The outreach ￿tiVitieS of Sunday School in WicL Mainly Music in WicL Mothers and
Toddlers in Wick and Youth Club in Keiss continued ts develop alarge number of contacts
who are introduced to thc Gosp¢I m¢&sag¢. Th¢se had lo ce&8e for periods the Sunday
Schix)I continued to operate every Sunday via Zoom. These are now fully Owional.
In respect of accounts the Reserves are salisfactory we are gratrful to God for his
provision. However these reserves are necessary iK)th for ttr provision of a pastor and during
th¢ lockdown for thc catching up of the general rnaintenan¢e of the ¢hur¢h and provision for

the ternis of the Charities and Trusiee Investment ( Scotland ) Act 2005 and the ChaTities
Accounts ( Scrtland } Regulations 21X)6. The charity trustees cott8ider that the audit
requiremctRt ofR¢gulation 10 (I) (d) of the A¢counts Regulations does not apply. It is my
responsibility to examine the accounts Ullder S￿tIOn 44 (1) (c) of the Act and to
state whether ￿ticul￿ matters have come lo my attrnrion.

My exaMin￿on is caTtied oul in accornIa￿e with Regulation I l of the Cbarities Accounts
{ Scotland ) Regulations 2(KK). An examination I￿lUdeS a review of thc a(Eount1i￿ records
kept by th¢ charity and a comparison of the xcounts presented with those records. It also
in¢ludes consideration of 8ny unugjal items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks
¢xplanations frorn the tr￿Stee$ conceming matters. The w￿dureS undertaken do not
provide all the evidence that would t¢quired in an audiL conSeq￿ntIY I do not exptss
an audit opinion on the view given bv the accounts.
