It was set up 30 years ago to help provide a befriending service for young people in South Ayrshire who may be socially isolated, or who have social or emotional difficulties.    Bfriend supports around 50 young people aged between 8 and 18 years providing one to one befriending and group activities. The Project\u2019s full team consists of a Project Manager 3 part time Project Coordinators, and one full time Project Administrator who together carry out the daily running of the service and the recruitment and training of volunteer befrienders.
