The Charity was set up to provide a lunch club to elderly people in a defined area of Shetland who due to age & health had become houebound. Following the covid lockdown the charity has become dormant and no longer operates.
Beneficiaries: 'Older People'
Objectives: (a)to provide care and company for residents in Shetland in the area south of a line from Channerwick to Maywick, without distinction of sex, or of political, religious or other opinions, who by reason of age and lack of access to transport are confined to their dwelling places. b) to co-operate with the local statutory Authority in the provision and management of Day-Care.Y/The Group shall be non-party in Politics and non-sectarian in Religion.
