Voluntary Action Lochaber maintain a Third Sector Hub in Fort William, offering affordable office space and networking opportunities for community based organisations along with providing a wide range of Volunteering and Third Sector Support Services. Voluntary Action Lochaber also represent the Third Sector by engaging with other partners, action groups, planning and stakeholder groups.

Objectives: To relieve poverty among the residents of Lochaber. To advance education for the public benefit among the residents of Lochaber. To preserve, conserve, restore and improve the environment for the benefit of the general public and particularly for the benefit of the community within Lochaber. To relieve the needs of people suffering from mental/physical disability, illness or impairment. To provide in the interests of social welfare facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation, available to the public at large with a view to improving their conditions of life. To promote, establish, operate and/or support other schemes and projects of a charitable nature for the benefit of the community within Lochaber.
