Our purpose is to deliver A World of Service each year on the 1st Friday in March and to provide information regarding our activities throughout the year and the writing countries WDP Service booklet, Bible Study, Rescource Book, Service Books for Youth and Children's service. Braille copies of these books are available for those who have sight issues.

Objectives: The Objects of the Committee are to promote the AIM of the WDP as stated above and in that context, (a) to organise and afrange for the observance of the World Day of prayer: (b) to receive the basic world Order of Service each year. to . adapt it when necessary and to publish and issue it together with any other material relevant to the ensuing Day of Prayer. (c), to assist financially or otherwise in the publication and issue of the Scriptures and various forms of Christian literature designed to advance the Christian faith and way of life throughout the world, or in such) other project as may be determined under section 8 (d) to plan opportunities for devotional and'Bible Study Group meetings and to encourage the formation of local interdenominational committees to promote the AIM of the WDP' which Committees shall:- (i) use such literature as is issued or 'approved by the Scottish Committee. (ii) forward to the Treasurer of the Scottish Committee the amount of contributions given at Services less the expenses there of
