Objectives: 4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 To promote the welfare of people with varying degrees of dementia, in a way which could be said, either now or later, to be legally charitable, and in furtherance of this the charity will seek to. 4.2 Ensure that accurate, understandable and appropriate information about the various forms and degrees of dementia is readily available to people with dementia and their carers 4.3 Represent the needs and interests of people with dementia and their carers 4.4 Promote the availability of appropriate and accessible training to people with dementia and their carers. 4.5 Raise public awareness of dementia, and to promote the inclusion of people with dementia and their carers in wider society and in the community life of the area.
