Over this financial year the increase in outgoing costs due to expansion of nursery hours, pension payments, meeting the living wage and rent increases have been balanced out by the nurseries provision to support larger numbers of children and the continual support by the committee’s fundrasisng efforts. This has resulted in a positive financil end to 2023/24

Fundraising income will increase with return of well attended events from the past year. A family ceilidh, yoga evening and Coffee mornings will be planned in for the next year. 

Grant awards are not included in any projections as it is difficult to foresee what will be available next year. They also tend to be project based and therefore, not impactful on the day to day operational costs of the nursery.
