**What the charity does:** The Trust's main objective is to find, document and preserve evidence of the history of working people in Scotland. This is done by running oral history recording projects with different occupational groups, and then transcribing the recordings and making them publicly available through the School of Scottish Studies at the University of Edinburgh. When possible, the Trust also publishes volumes of memories of the working lives of  the people it has interviewed.
