JUNE BAKER TRUST
The June Baker Trust was founded to promote and encourage the development and study of the arts and sciences of restoration and conservation of historical artefacts in Scotland. The Trust supports individuals not organisations, and awards funding to conservators of all ages living studying and working in Scotland.
Aims

To commemorate June Baker, supporting the conservation of artefacts as a reflection of her own skills and her interest in sustaining the skills of others involved in conservation in Scotland.

To make annual grants that can be used in advancing careers, priming interesting projects and encouraging other agencies to make contributions.

To encourage the development of conservation skills in Scotland and thus make a useful contribution towards conserving the country's invaluable collections of decorative and fine arts.
Activities
The committee meets twice-yearly: in February to review reports from grantees and applicant resources, and in June to make awards to applicants.
In 2025 grants totalling £1,850 were paid to 7 beneficiaries.
During 2025, the committee prepared new Information for Trustees and embarked on recruiting a new Trustee.
