BCA was set up to manage the hall on behalf of South Ayrshire Council ensuring access to the community to host and participate in a range of events - social and educational.

Objectives: (a) to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the neighbourhood without oistinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education,and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and for leisure time occupation. (b) to co-operate with the local statutory authority in the maintenance and management of a Community Centre where this exists for activities promoted by the Association in furtherance of the above objects. (c) to foster a community spirit for the achievement of these and other such objects as may by law be deemed to be charitable.
