The principal function of the Trust is to act as administrative trustees. The Trustees hold properties outwith Scotland on behalf of Church of Scotland bodies and act as Trustees in a number of Third Party Trusts which benefit areas of work undertaken by FAPLT, Committees and Congregations of the Church of Scotland. The Trust also fulfills governance responsibilities on the direction of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland
