**What the charity does:** EDG promotes the inclusion of people with a learning disability and their family carers in Edinburgh.  Our aim is always to work alongside people and be guided by them as they know best what will help. We recognise that due to societal barriers, they may not have the time to organise everything for themselves. Our role is to take away the organisational load so people can focus on what matters most. Co-design, co-delivery and co-evaluation at the centre of all of our projects.

**Objectives:** To provide relief and promote the benefit of people of all ages with learning difficulties and of their families and carers residing within the Area of Benefit (the 'beneficiaries') through the provision of services and activities that aim to improve the beneficiaries' condititons of life and enable them to participate fully in the social, economic and civic life of their communities. and to advance education through the provision of trainin, information, advice and guidance to professional bodies and practitioners, the general public and the said beneficiaries on the planning, co-ordination and delivery of services which best meet the needs and choices of the beneficiaries.
