The main thing that we do is provide a volunteer community car scheme for people who can\u2019t access public transport. The charity is supported by a group of volunteers who use their own vehicles to provide journeys for people who need access to health and medical appointments, shopping, visiting friends and attending various community activities.  Our car scheme is now the established method of transport for older and immobile people in Lochaber who rely on a vital, door-to-door, affordable service.  All service users register with us and indicate their needs, so that an appropriate driver and vehicle can be allocated. Drivers receive an induction and ongoing training on health and safety, emergency procedures and helping passengers.
