**What the charity does:** To endow and make an annual reward to students undertaking or extending their studies in Scotland in Town and Country Planning.

**Objectives:** The purpose of the Trust shall be to endow and , provide for the making of an annual award to  students undertaking or to the exercise their studies  in Scotland of Town and Country Planning. Without prejudice to the generality, of their sole discretion by the Trustees as to the recipient of the award, the award may by way of example be given to a mature student who is in need of financial support to i enable her/him to undergo a career change into the planning profession to extend her/his training and experience or because she/he has dependents to support while still engaged on his further training, or to a student requiring financial support to enable her/him to enter upon or continue a planning course recognised by the Royal Town Planning Institute Scotland.
