Kilsyth Community Church OSCR Report 2024 for session 2023 2023 saw the church continue to run smoothly. Numbers were not as high we would like but slowly increased towards the end of the year. Our Pastor left in January 2023. which reduced our Leadership Team to 5. The Trading Company continued to operate successfully during 2023. Our Out of School Club numbers stayed steady over the 2023 period. The club is going very well with lots of positive feedback from parents and children. A few staff changes have been made with staff finishing University and moving onto the full-time jobs. Café Refresh business ran well although the rising of costs of electricity and food had a negative effect on the running costs. The Café continues to be a safe plaGe for lots of regular customers. The Café continues to be used for a Community Café every Wednesday night. various fund raising events, film eVenI￿S and special events within the church. The Allsortz programme continued to davolop with folks sharing their skills and anjoying lots of activities. Our Mother & Toddlers group increased in number and runs once a week at full capacity. Progress was slow in establishing the church as a SCIO. Our legal representatives hav8 carried out some of the necessary steps towards fom)alising the title deeds of the building. We await documents from the Land Registry. The church remains in good stead and as a body we look forward to increasing in numbers and enjoying God's goodness in the future.
