**Objectives:** The Trustees shall hold the Trust Funds for purposes of. public benefit recognised by law as exclusively charitable for the purpose of taxation, and in particular (i) in order to encourage the study, practice and knowledge of music in Scotland and (ii) in particular (without prejudice to the power of the Trustees to support the educational work of any other organisation or to support any other activities or initiatives which further the aims set out in (i) above) to further the efficiency of and promote the educational work of the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland Limited (NYOS) and any activities, projects or organisations its objects, the aims set out in paragraphs (i) and (ii) above being referred to as 'the Purposes'. All references in the Trust Deed shall be deemed to be references to the Purposes as detailed in this Clause 3 .1.conducted, undertaken or promoted by NYOS in its objects, the aims set out in paragraphs (i) and (ii) above being referred to as 'the Purposes'.
