Safe Strong & Free is a Scottish children’s charity set up to help children and young people grow up safe, confident and respected. We focus on prevention, education and early intervention, working to stop harm before it happens rather than responding after it has occurred. We deliver age-appropriate workshops and resources for early years, schools and communities that support children to understand personal safety, bullying, boundaries, emotions, online safety, inclusion and their rights. Our work helps children develop the skills, language and confidence to recognise unsafe or unkind behaviour, seek help and support others. We also work with teachers, parents and community partners to promote positive relationships, kindness and inclusive cultures in the places where children live and learn. Our programmes are evidence-informed, aligned with Scottish Government guidance, and evaluated to ensure they are effective and meaningful for children.

Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people','Other defined groups'

Objectives: Subject to that over-riding qualification, the company's objects are to help reduce the vulnerablility of young children of abuse and assault by (a) providing workshops for adult carers, parents and children and (b) By promoting within ther community the principles of the project in preventing child abuse.
