APPENDIX 1 Achievements and performance Summary of the maln achlevements of the charity durlng the financlal poriod In the past few years, a great number of people in Hong Kong with BNO status moved to the UK. As a result, ECCC has experienced a significant increase in the congregation. Our regular worshippers now number about 100. ECCC still accommodates worshippers who speaks Cantonese as their first ' language. With the increase in the congregation. there has been a need to set up of different fellowship groups. These cater for | the spiritual needs of different age ranges in the congregation, We have children's Sunday school for primary school children, a teenager fellowship, college students fellowship, a working I group fellowship, a parenvs group fellowship and a retirement group fellowship. Last year, one of our deacons resigned at the end of OCL We had a special AGM at the end of Dec. As a result, we have elected 4 deacons to fulfil the increasing workload of the Deacon Board. Planning ahead, the congregation has approved a move to employ two part time pastors to be responsible for the teenager fellowship and children's Sunday school. We pray God will guide us through this new phase in our church. Provide us with more dedicated pastors and manpower to administer his gospel in the community and bring more people to know Iiim. We pray our church will stay strong with God's love and honour his name with our work. Financial review Brlef statoment of the charity'8 poIIcy on reserves Our Church has a surplus of £6597 for the year 2024-2025. The surplus will be reserved for the employmeni of tTho additional part-time pastoral staff members in the year 2025-2026, in order to serve the needs of the growing Church congregation.
