**What the charity does:** Shetland Amenity Trust is a Scottish charitable trust, established 40 years ago to protect, preserve and celebrate Shetland’s heritage, specifically natural, built and cultural heritage. Our aim is to collaborate with others to ensure everyone in Shetland can feel their cultural and natural heritage, is protected, valued and celebrated.

**Objectives:** For the folowing objects: The protection, imporvment, and enhancement of buildings and artefacts of architectural, historical, educational or other  interest in Shetland, with a view to securing public access to such artefacts for the purpose of research, study or recreation. the provision, development, and improvment of facilities for the enjoyment of the public of the Sheltand countryside and its flora and fauna, the conservation and enhancement of for the benefit of the public and its natural beauty and amenity and the securing of public access to the Shetland countryside for the purpose of study, research or recreation.
