The Gordon Cook Foundation is an Aberdeen based charity established in 1974 to promote and develop values education throughout the United Kingdom. Values education includes social and moral education, health education and projects likely to promote character development, citizenship and ethical behaviour. The Foundation achieve this via the following: 1. Sponsoring and delivering educational projects designed to promote character development and good citizenship 2. Promoting social and moral education, complementary to religious education 3. Providing support, advice and information to teachers and others relating to personal development of the child 4. Disseminating the results of related research and development 5. Promoting citizenship in its widest terms including social & moral education, aesthetic appreciation, youth activities, co operation between the home and the school 6. Promoting health education 7. Receiving & managing funds from other appropriate sources

Objectives: 3. The objects for which the Trust is established are: (1) To advance, promote and carry out any aspects of education or allied activities likely to promote character development hereinafter described. (2) To provide support, suggestions and information to teachers and parents relating to personal development of the child. Society renews itself through the schools.
