()rganisational Structure
The Kirk Ses,sion. which mcets nin¢ limes a year. has 15 active Elders (8 male and 7 female). During the
year Dickson Jacobs 5ubmilted his r¢.sigynaiion as an active Elder due to his relocation away from
Glasgow. In lemis of th¢ Basis of Parish Grouping, agreed during 2021 with the constituent
congiregations c)f KniL,hiswoud Anniesland Trinity (KAT). elders of both congregations have met during
the year in Coun¢il to make jOiDI poliLy decisions.
Objectives and Activities
The Church of Scotland is Trinitarian in Doclrine. Reformed in Tradition and Pre5b￿erian in Polity. It

national church, it acknowledges a distinctive call and duty to bring the Ordinances of religiion lo the

various ecurncnical bodies in Scoiland and beyond.
In addition lo Sunday morning worship al I l am in our Sanctuary, Ihe.service continues to be made
available on Zoom for the benefit of those who are too frail to attend or who are still reluctant to attend in

not prdcticably possible. This class is much welcomed and appr¢cialed by those attending.

proposed previously between Temple Anniesland and the Con￿¥allon of St Saviour's, Sukkur in
Pakistan, should be progressed by KA T.
The PCIC has met regularly to discuss and consider the difficult decisions to be made affecting
govemanc¢, worship and life of the cnngregaiions. During 2023 the main drive has been on which of the
thrcc buildings should b¢ rctaincd by thc joint congregation going fon¥ard. Following considerdblc
debate on the merits of each of the building5. a congregational vole was held in March to deterniine which
would be relained and which disposed of. Unf(irtunatelv. no clear decision was reached following the
vote. While both Si David'% and KAT voted in fai'our of relaining thc St Margaret's building and
disposing of thc Annicsland building. the margin in fai'our wa5 vcry narro￿, in th¢ KA T congregation.
B¢causc of the closeness of the vote. and approaches made by a few individuals with concerns relaling to

w&$ agreed during these meetings that il was unlikely that rc-running the vole would obthin a clear resulL
and attention was turned 10 expluring the aliemaiive opiion ot. se¢king arbitration. Presbytery ouilined to
the PCJC, th¢ idea of an independent group making decisions aboui ihe buildings. culminating in a fomial
