We are a small local history museum set up to collect and display artifacts unique to Bathgate area. We are open to the public six days a week Monday - Saturday and are available for student research and education visits from local schools.

Objectives: The objects for which the premises have been acquired and the Management Committee and Trustees aftermentioned have been established are as follows:- To provide a meeting place for the Community Council and other Bathgate based groups of people (i i) To provide premises to be used as a museum and exhibition centre for the collection, holding and retaining of artefacts, articles, documents and others from the Bathgate and Local area which the Trustees consider will enhance the collect ion, for the benefit and edification of the people of Bathgate and District. (iii) To restore and preserve the premises in a state of good repair and condition in all time coming. (iv) To form establish and support and to aid in the formation establishment and support of any other charitable companies, institutions, associations, trusts or societies formed for objects, similar to the objects set out above.-and (v) To promote the premises as an historic building of local interest .
