The Adamson Trust provides grants towards funding holidays, or respite breaks, for children aged 2-17 years of age who have continuing physical health problems or learning disabilities. Applications may be made by individual families or by organisations such as schools, social work departments or hospital services. The application process involves an online application form, which is available on The Adamson Trust website, which also provides further details of how and when to apply and the evidence required to support the application.. Applications are submitted from the website directly to the Trust Administrator. The Trustees meet quarterly to review the business of the Trust and the applications received, and award grants where the application is successful. The Administrator contacts all families or organisations with the Trustees decision and organises bank transfers of the grants awarded. The portfolio of investments is managed by the Trust's Investment Advisers.
