**What the charity does:** The primary focus of YMCA Montrose is, and will remain, the support of the young people of our town and its surrounding rural areas. Our youth work project is centered around empowering young people by providing opportunities for personal development, skill-building, and social interaction in a safe and supportive environment. Through targeted interventions, we aim to support youth in navigating critical life transitions, develop their life skills, and address challenges related to mental health, wellbeing, and community involvement.

**Objectives:** The aims of the Association are:- To provide a safe, warm and friendly environment to the young people of Montrose and surrounding rural area, and To encourage, support, assist and guide young people (regardless of gender or social, cultural, economic, religious or academic background) to achieve their goals and toweards active citizenship.
