terrns of the Charities and Trustee Investment (5cotlandl 2005 Act and the Charlties Accounts
(Stotland) Regulations 2006. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of
Regulation 10111 lal to Ic} of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to
examine the accounts as requ ired under sectlon 4411) Icl of the Act and to state whether particular
mattefs have come to rny attention.
My examlnation is carrled out In accordance with Regulation 11 of the CharitSes Accounts

by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented wlth those records. It also includes
consideration of any unusual item5 Qr disclosu res in the accounts and seeks explanations frarn
the trustees concernln8 any such matters, The procedures undertaken do not provide all the
eV￿ence that would be requlred in an audlt and, consequentlyj I do not express an audit opinion
on the accounts.
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention
I Which gives me reasonable cause to belleve that In any material respect the requlrements:
to keep accounting records In accordance with section 44lllla} of the 2005 Act and Regulation 4 of
the 2006 Accounts Regulations. and
to prepare accounts wh ich accord with the accountlng records and comply with Re8ulation 9

Annual report for year ending 31 March 2025
I have much pleasure in presenting this annual report on behalf of the Offi￿rS and
committee members of the organisation.
It has been a year of mixed fortunes for the Rockvale and myself for various reasons. At
the stsrt of the year we were contscted by West Dumbarton Communty volunteer services
(WDCVS) who disburse Council grant money to local organisations. WDCVS on behalf of
the Council, were requesting the retum of any unspent transport grant money, (as was the
Council's right), which request created massive problems as the money was being used to
pay our energy supplier to the studio. l immediately informed the listeners and volunteers
and appealed for financial assistance to remain in operation. I wish to thank everyone who
responded to mv appeal but in particular to

from the Robertson trust. In late 2023
our treasurer intimated she would be
resigning in March 2024, hence we were
rying to deal with the financial problems without
treasurer. We were infonned about a volunteer interested in taking up Ihe post of treasurer
but on further discussion we leamed that she did not have a computer and had changed
her mind. Shortly aftemards
our secretsry announced she was resigning. We have had
one or two expressions of interest in the post but nothing confirmed. Unfortunately at the
time of writing, the post of secretary is still unfilled.

Due to the fact that one local newspaper became a digital only publication and the shortage of material in the other, in addition to ever decreasing number of volunteer readers, it was decided to move our weekly recordings to fortnightly with effect from 2025.

Finally, I would like to sincerely thank all the volunteers for their invaluable help, without whom we would not have an organisation.
