The charity is set up to promote the tradition and playing of brass band music , participate in competition, engagements and such like activities whilst being a registered member of Scottish Brass Band Association . The band rents a hall to hold practises for training and senior band . The practise sessions are on a Monday evening throughout the year. The band plays at local markets , local concerts and charity events and competes in line with the events scheduled through the Scottish Brass Band Association.

Objectives: The object of the Band(s) shall be to advance the education of the public in the art of Brass and percussion playing by the presentation of public performance and other related activities and in furtherance thereof -
