KCL is established for the purpose of benefitting the community in Keith and the surrounding district by - (a) providing emotional and moral support for those suffering from cancer, their families and other carers (b) relieving poverty incurred as a result of cancer (and related illnesses) (c) advancing education of the public in matters relating to the mental, physical and social welfare of those suffering from cancer (and related illnesses).

Objectives: The Group is established for the purposes of benefitting the Communities of Keith and Districts within a 10 mile radius , who have cancer and cancer related illnesses ,with empathy, support and assistance with taxi transport to hospitals for treatments, appointments and to have a quality of life with their families at home. Meeting the needs of cancer persons ,People who request transport for cancer treatments must be registered at Keith Health Centre .an escort from the Group can be provided on request Applying a holistic approach to cancer treatments with complimentary therapies for person, family and carer after assessment. Providing a support network to help with the healing process .love, reassurance and being there as a family which the Charity feels is the prerequisite for a successful group. Maintaining website www.keithcancerlink with up to date information advancing the education information and matters relating to mental, physical social welfare of those with cancer. The Charity over the years has purchased and donated various Medical Equipment to Turner Memorial Hospital and Community to assist with the care of people with cancer General Practitioners, Community Nurses, Clergy . Macmillan nurses, Marie Curie Nurses and other Professional bodies refer people with cancer issues to the Group. A 24 hour support telephone system operates within the Group members.
