'the advancement of education','the advancement of religion','the advancement of citizenship or community development','the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science'

The purpose of the charity is to help increase awareness and understanding of torah true judaism. We do this by sponsoring and supporting establishments such as Schools and Yeshivahs, who educate youth for a Torah True Life, and kollelim, for senior students in preparation for becoming teachers and rabbonim. We also give grants to individual senior rabbinical students whom we judge will play a prominent role in Jewish leadership and education in the future. We gve financial support to rabbinic students who are under financial pressure.

Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people','Older People','People with a particular ethnic or racial origin','Other charities or voluntary bodies'

Objectives: The aim of the Kollel is to introduce a higher standard of Orthodox Jewish Religious knowledge, appropriate for the members of the Glasgow Jewish Community and in doing so establish Kolleldi and other similar orthodox Torah educational institutions in Glasgow and elsewhere both in the United Kingdom and abroad either independently or as joint ventures with other orthodox Jewish Associations with similar aims.
