1.1 Union of Dalrsle and Cupar: St John's
The linked congregab.ons of Dairsie and Cupar. St John's were united on 1 January 2009.
The Scottish Chanty Registratson number SC015721 of the united congregation is the number
previously held by Dairsie congregakn'on. The Chanty Registration number of Cupar.. St John's
SC031896 was discontinued.
1.2 Judgements and key sources of estlmation uncertainty
In the application of the chanty's accounting policies Ihe Trustees are reqUI￿d to make judgements,
estimates and assumptions about the carrying amount of assets and liabilities that are not readily
apparent from other sources. The esb'mates and assoaated assumpb.ons are based on historical
experience and other factors that are conSide￿d to be relevanl. Actual ￿$VIts may differ from these
ests'mates. In preparing these financial statements the trustees have made the following
Accruals
Truslees estimate the Tequirement for accruals using post year end infomialion. This identifies
costs which are expected to be incurred for ServI￿S provided by other partt'es. A￿ruar$ are only

The estimates and underfwng assumptions are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Revisions to
accounting estimates are recognised in the period in vthich the estimate is revised where the
revision affects only that period, or in the period of revision and future periods where the revision
affects both current and fijture p8riods.
