The activities of the Sutherland Schools Pipe Band are organised to advance the education of the public in the art of the pipe band, and furtherance thereof. a) To support and advance the Sutherland Schools Pipe Band by assisting the presentation of public performances other related activities b)To promote, advance and encourage pipe playing, drumming and highland dancing in all its branches. and c) To promote the heritage traditions and the playing of pipe band music generally c) To encourage and educate young persons in piping and drumming.
