**What the charity does:** Spinal Injuries Scotland is the national voluntary organisation concerned with helping new and long-term spinal cord injured (SCI) people, their relatives, and friends, as well as those involved in the management, care, and rehabilitation of the injury. Our charitable aim is “the advancement of health”. With over 60 years of experience, we deliver a nationwide, membership focused service, which is delivered through programs and projects designed to meet the needs of our members. Having a spinal cord injury (SCI) is a traumatic and life changing event. The process of rehabilitation is both a physical and emotional challenge.
