Delivering a world class, front line search and rescue service in coordination with Scottish Government, Police Scotland and Fire and Rescue Services, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, Maritime and Coastguard Agency, Scottish Ambulance Service, and other partner agencies involved in land based Search and Rescue. The rescue team hold regular training to allow us to respond to time critical emergencies in remote environments for civilian emergency service requirements to save lives.

Objectives: 4.1 To provide, free of charge, a mountain rescue service for members of the public who are injured, lost, missing or immobilised anywhere in the mountains or elsewhere. 4.2 To acquire, maintain and hold in readiness all equipment and apparatus necessary for carrying out the organisation's purposes. and 4.3 To afford opportunities for members of the organisation to practice the skills required for carrying out the primary objects of the organisation. 4.4 To provide such other emergency services as may be requested by the Scottish Ambulance Service and/or Police Scotland from time to time.
